How do I word this?
I'm writing an assignment about a patient in a hospital, I need to write down that she was sat up in the bed using the buttons on the electric hospital beds. I've come up with...
"She had to be sat up for the assessment by elevating the head of the bed."
But it doesn't sound quite right to me.... any ideas?
As she lay in bed for the assessment, her head arose with the help of her electronically activated headrest and a nurse to activate the switch.
