Bed Motor Operated
Having problem with electric rv bunk bed.?

Recently purchased used toyhauler with electric queen bunk in back. The bunk operates on a cable/winch system. Before our first trip out the cable on the bed broke. We were able to get that replaced. Used the beds for one trip out. When we tried to lower the bed down it will not go down.

It has power to raise up and you can hear the motor trying to raise it up (it is already all the way at the top), but nothing when trying to lower it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

maybe the switch isn't working, spray some WD-40 inside the switch itself and work it back and forth, put a little more pressure when pushing in the down direction

if you don't hear the motor try to go down, check the wiring at the motor, a terminal connector could have popped off while you were driving
