Is this a correct description of making an ester?
" first heat under reflux to create the catalyst for the acid and alcohol to react. Using a reflux condenser prevents loss of material and anti-bumping granuels can be used to distribute heat evenly. Then seperate the impure product into less dense organics and denser aqueous by shaking with reagents which remove impurities. Finally, distill the product using distilation.
