How should I protect my autographed baseballs?
I've started a collection of autographed baseballs. The collection is small by comparison to many other collectors (11 Yankee single-autographed baseballs) but it's growing - every year I try to add one (or if I'm lucky two) more.
Basically my question is: what is the best way to protect the baseballs? I have plastic cube/sphere holders for each individual ball, but I was talking to someone the other day and they said that UV-protective cases are the best way to go so I was thinking of upgrading to those - but is it worth it??
My baseballs sit on my two shelves above my desk and aren't really exposed to direct sunlight or direct light from a lamp, but will they still be damaged in the long run?
Sorry for the long question, thanks for reading it all if you made it this far down.
The ones the shape of the ball are worthless they dont protect the ball from light the only ones that do are the UV ones. as the person above me said look for them on ebay you can get them there pretty cheap around 2.50 each. If you need help message me at david_drake1 and I can show you where I buy mine. I have over 200 balls.
