37 weeks pregnant, had sex last night HELP !?
hi peeps im 37 weeks pregnant and me and my partner had sex last night, i was told by my midwife from 37 weeks onwards to have sex as much as i could to help bring on labour as im having a big baby, i have a baby heart monitor which i listened to after we had finished intercoarse, and the babys heart beat was really fast and lasted that way for ages, i went to bed to try and relax him and fell asleep, woke up this morning and his heart rate has gone back to normal thank god, but why was it so fast did we hurt him or upset him in any way, plus i dont feel to well this morning prob the whole pineapple i consumed yesterday (another one of my midwifes ideas), can someone help me out should i not be having sex i thought it was safe to. im not a high risk pregnancy, should i contact my midwife as i feel like crap.any help would be greatly appreciated,
My husband and I had sex right up to I gave birth with all 3 of ours, and all 3 turned out normal and healthy. Of course we listened to a Dr, and not a midwife. Big difference.
